About Intaglio
The Intaglio Collection is constructed with two thicknesses of veneers which are painstakingly bonded together creating a veneer that is twice as thick as it would be normally. Not every piece of veneer is bonded creating a sense of three-dimensionality on just one surface. Sanding and other distressing techniques wear the edges off of the raised veneers so as not to be hard-edged.
